Whether
you're looking for a driver to enjoy on that odd weekend or a fully
restored show winner, American Classics can easily fill your needs.
From our large inventory of quality cars, you can pick the car of
your dreams.
We also handle consignments of all types of cars to better serve our
customers. Tired of trying to sell your car on eBay or other
Internet auctions? Are you wary of all the potential fraud and
possibility you won't get paid for your car? Are you tired of
waiting at home on a Sunday afternoon watching for someone who never
shows up to view the car you spent all morning getting ready?
Consign your car to American Classics today and turn your car into
money you can better use. Our lots are secure, with night watchmen,
camera and sonic security, and are all fenced to keep the
fingerprints off of your car. In most locations, we have covered or
inside show rooms for our locations which experience inclement
weather. It's the perfect solution for selling your car or
purchasing another. We specialize in culling or adding to quality
vintage and classic car collections.

There are many unknown and
unforeseen repairs on any restoration project. For example, there almost
always is hidden rust beneath another metal structure. It is not possible
to accurately forecast the cost of restoring a vehicle. The true cost is
only revealed during the restoration process. It is for this reason that
all of our restorations are done on a time/materials basis. A somewhat
accurate estimate could be made if the vehicle was first fully
disassembled -- stripped of all body parts, chrome, glass, suspension,
interior, paints and undercoating. Then each piece is inspected and
documented for condition and originality. Lastly, after the removal of all
paint coatings, old collision damage, body dents and rust will need to be
evaluated. Obviously, this disassembly and analysis alone would be time
consuming and expensive -- especially if the customer decides not to go
forward with the project.
For these reasons, initial cost estimates are simply a 'best guess'
estimation. All restoration work is contracted on a time & materials
basis. A substantial advance deposit is required to start the project with
the remainder billed in stages. Remember, the idea of an "inexpensive
restoration" is misleading when you have a true understanding of the time
and effort put into each project. Auto restoration is not for everyone. As
the vehicle owner, a substantial financial commitment must be made before
deciding to restore.
